Chiropody and Podiatry Sessions
The Bracknell & District Parkinson’s Branch is pleased to be able to offer members and their carers a discounted chiropody and podiatry service, provided by a qualified professional.
This service is provided by Alison Avery MSSCh, MBChA from her office based in Wokingham – the service does require the individual to visit Alison – home visits are not available. Please follow this link to visit Alison’s web site through which you can obtain information and submit enquiries.

If you are a current member of the Bracknell Forest Parkinson’s organisation, or a carer for a member, please make sure to mention that to Alison prior to booking an appointment so that she can confirm membership status – you don’t need to inform the organisation although we are always pleased to receive feedback.
From 1st April 2025, the cost of this service will be:
- £28 for each session for Branch members who have Parkinson’s and, also
- £28 for each session for Branch members who are carers
The full cost of each session is £50 and the Branch will provide the balance of the funding directly to Alison.
For financial reasons sessions are limited to one session per month – should you require multiple sessions in quick succession please contact us to confirm whether any cost beyond one session per month can be met by the organisation – we will try to help if we can.
Subsidies are dependent upon the availability of funding and so their availability could change in the future.
