Parkinson’s Singing Café
Bracknell Parkinson’s Branch is pleased to be able to offer a Parkinson’s Singing Café for members and their carers. Singing improves breathing and posture, improves spirits and lifts depression, and may well improve facial mobility.
Singing has many beneficial effects including physiological and improving your vocal range, and the sessions are part-funded by the Branch and so attendance is encouraged. The session is an informal sing-along led by trained staff and the emphasis is on having fun whilst enjoying sharing refreshments with other Branch members.
There is an attendance fee of £11 per person per month which is payable monthly in advance to the Branch’s bank account.
When:
From 11 – 12pm on Friday, currently being trialled on a weekly basis, see Diary page for further details.
